3’x3′ Mixed Media on Canvas.
At first, I thought I was painting lilies. But lilies have a way of becoming something else when you let them.
As I layered the early strokes, the petals began to behave like architecture—stacking, leaning, creating a kind of non‑traditional horizon line that felt both floral and geological. The painting stopped being a still life and became a landscape built from blossoms. If you feel like the painting is inviting you into a world made entirely of petals and possibility—then it’s doing exactly what it was meant to do.
